Grouped (“the App,” “we,” or “us”) is provided by ABLE Tech LLC. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App uses, how it is used, and the choices available to you.
Information Stored on Your Device
Grouped uses photos you select or take to provide private group photo sharing. Photos you upload, group information, membership information, and related metadata may be stored through Apple iCloud and CloudKit and made available to authorized group members. You control what you upload. Other members may retain copies of content they can access.
The App may store preferences and cached content on your device. Removing the App or clearing its data may remove locally stored information. Copies you save to your photo library or share elsewhere are managed separately.
Optional Cloud Features
Grouped may use Apple CloudKit to provide optional surveys, privacy choices, and developer-managed sponsored opportunities. Optional cloud features may use a CloudKit-generated identifier, the App’s identifier, your selected demographic information, survey answers, and dates associated with those choices or responses.
Providing demographic information and answering surveys is optional. General surveys or sponsored opportunities may appear without demographic sharing. Cloud information may be used to select relevant opportunities, prevent repeated survey responses, measure participation and campaign performance, and operate the service.
Apple manages iCloud sign-in. The developer does not receive your Apple Account password.
Sponsored Opportunities
Grouped may display developer-managed sponsored opportunities delivered through Apple CloudKit. The App does not use Google AdMob.
Selecting a sponsored opportunity may open an external website. That website’s privacy policy and data practices apply after you leave the App.
Data Sharing
Apple processes information through its iCloud, CloudKit, and App Store services. If you choose to save or share a photo, the destination or service you select may process that content under its own privacy practices.
Information may be disclosed when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect users, the App, or our legal rights.
Your Choices and Data Deletion
You may decline optional demographic sharing or surveys. You can manage photo permissions through your device settings and remove saved content using the controls of the destination where you saved it. Deleting shared content cannot remove copies already retained by other users.
Contact us with questions or requests for assistance deleting user-linked cloud information. We may need information sufficient to identify and verify your request. Aggregate campaign counts that no longer identify an individual user may remain after deletion.
Data Retention
Local information remains on your device until removed by the App, by you, or when the App’s data is deleted. Cloud information is retained for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the described features, operate the service, comply with legal obligations, or resolve disputes.
Children’s Privacy
Parents or guardians should supervise children’s use of the App and should not allow children under 13 to submit optional demographic information or survey responses. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information through the App, contact us so that the information can be reviewed and deleted as appropriate.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the App’s features or data practices change. The revised policy will display a new “Last Updated” date.
